THERAPY for teens & young adults
OUR CLIENTS
BaMidbar in Massachusetts offers therapy for Massachusetts resident Jewish teens and young adults (ages 13-28) who are struggling with mild to moderate emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
OUR OFFICES
We are located at the JCC of Greater Boston, 333 Nahanton St, Newton, MA. Clients check in at the front desk and are directed to our office.
OUR HOURS
Monday-Thursday, 9:00 am-7:00 pm. Evening sessions take place at the JCC.
INSURANCE
BaMidbar currently accepts:
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts
Tufts Health Plan in Massachusetts
*IMPORTANT NOTE: Coverage options may vary from therapist-to-therapist.
BaMidbar also offers a Sliding Scale Program payment plan for those who either do not have insurance or have insurance that BaMidbar does not currently accept.
OUT-OF-POCKET PAYMENTS & AFFORDABILITY
For those who do not have insurance through the carriers we accept, or who are matched with therapists who do not yet accept insurance, we use a Sliding Scale Fee, up to $150/Session.
***Potential clients are encouraged to inquire regardless of insurance coverage or financial concerns. BaMidbar is committed to lowering barriers to accessing care. We will do our best to accommodate your circumstances.***

BaMidbar offers various skills and activity-based group therapy opportunities for teens (ages 13-17) targeting anxiety and stress management throughout the year.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION
THE TEEN WELLNESS FELLOWSHIP was developed in partnership with the Jewish Teen Initiative at Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston for 10th-12th graders in Massachusetts.
BECOMING A FELLOW
Applications open annually in June and can be found on JewishBostonTeens.

By training Jewish professionals, BaMidbar helps Massachusetts build a Jewish community that actively supports mental health and wellness.
JEWISH PROFESSIONALS
Developing Minds is a unique and transformative program that will bring together professionals from youth-serving organizations across Massachusetts to form a cohort working towards a shared objective: building organizational mental health capacity. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with peers, learn from one another, and tap into the collective wisdom of organizations facing similar challenges.
Developing Minds is run in partnership with Gateways with generous support by CJP.
