“How to use experiential education principles in online facilitation

As we settle into a world of virtual interaction, video conferencing, and Zoom fatigue, professionals are struggling with creative and engaging online facilitation. This two-session course will explore how we translate experiential education principles into online facilitation, and will offer strategies to help increase engagement from participants during online meetings and events.

We will model synchronous experiential activities and uses of common online collaborative tools that have the potential to encourage participation and maximize the group experience.

Our first installment of this course (September 1st & September 8th) filled in 48 hours, so we’ve added more dates. Register today to save your seat.

“Innovation in a Time of Pandemic”

As one of the newest grantees for the Natan Fund, BaMidbar is honored to be featured in Natan’s event, “Innovation in a Time of Pandemic,” a conversation featuring past and present grantees who are creating groundbreaking programs during these unprecedented times. Jory Hanselman, Executive Director of BaMidbar, will share the role BaMidbar hopes to play as Jewish communities and institutions grapple with the massive mental health challenges brought about by the pandemic. Other speakers include Mohammed Al Samawi from Abrahamic House, Rabbi Lisa Rubin from the Center for Exploring Judaism, Rabbi Elie Kaunfer from the Hadar Institute (and the Natan board), and Daniel Dotan from Madrasa.
